Display light bleeding after Mojave?

Ehm, I installed Mojave yesterday, and noticed today this on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016):

I would for sure have noticed this before, so the only reason for me would be Mojave...? Any ideas?

Can't imagine a way an OS upgrade could be able to mess with your screen.

Maybe you always had it but didn't see it because you probably haven't had a white background? But there is no way a software update can cause this.

Light bleed is hardware, Mojave is software. Can see how it has any connection?

I wouldn't be too dismissive.... I installed Mojave on my 2014 retina iMac on Monday and then commented a day later to my brother that my screen had bad light bleed on the right side on a black background that wasn't there "a few days ago". I didn't actually put 2 and 2 together.... would be a big coincidence......
