Hey, SO I have taken the time to slowly go thru my DVD collection and rip them to my external drive, and using metaX have given each the appropriate cover so now i can flic thru my collection and see the DVD cover instead of a VLC cone.
I want to further split all these up however and have a master Movies folder with originals however sub folders with Watched/Unwatched Comedy Thriller Horror ect with Alias' of appropriate movies in each. However by making an alias, it reverts the Display picture of the movie back to the Cone with a shortcut symbol in the corner. Does any one know of a way I can keep the DVD cover I have encoded the original file with having so I can make a bunch of alias' to go in each folder. Otherwise im gonna need massive amounts of storage to copy each movie to the folder I want it in...
