A axeldtf macrumors 6502 Original poster Dec 10, 2018 #1 My MBA is set to go to sleep 3 minutes after no activity. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I have a hot corner set for this and that seems to work fine. Could there be something preventing the display going to sleep?

auxbuss macrumors 6502a Dec 11, 2018 #2 Could be. There's a column in Activity Monitor that you can add to find out. It's labelled: Preventing Sleep. You can also run `pmset -g assertions` and look for sleep related items in the Listed by owning process section.
