Display on in Sleep Mode w/Series 7

When putting the watch into sleep mode, my Series 6 (Watch OS 8) would turn the display off; but the Series 7 keeps the display always on. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t seen a specific setting that would affect this particular parameter.

Is this in wind down or when you manually turn on your sleep Focus?

Great question! When I am manually enabling sleep mode via the watch. I would love to use it on schedule but my days are not that predictable.

I guess problem solved… If the scheduled sleep mode is enabled, the watch display will turn off, but if sleep isn’t setup and engaged manually the screen will stay on.
