I've got a problem with my 2016 Macbook Pro.

It has flickering stripes across the screen. They follow and react to whatever applications are opened.

Does anybody know this problem/a solution?

It's not the screen itself in my opinion because the stripes aren't static. Ill try to confirm this with an external display tomorrow...

This is not normal. There were some graphical glitches with the Radeon Pro 460 but since yours is a 13" the problem is not with the dGPU but the integrated one on the core i5/i7. Do you have AppleCare? I would suggest taking it to an Apple Store as fast as possible. Stuff like this is usually a sign of overheating.

Download Smcfancontrol and run the fans with a high rpm and see if it goes away temporarily. You can also try an SMC reset as well as a PRAM reset just to make sure.

Thank you for the tip. Running the fans doesnt change anything unfortunately. I'll take it to an apple store – but I'll have to pay for it unless I can convince them that this is a fault on their part...

Was it dropped or exposed to moisture?

No, nothing happened to it.

Also: if i use an external screen everything works normal.
