Display Problem

In the process of trying to diagnose a problem with some software, I switched over to Classic 9 to take a look at some files. When I restarted in Classic 9.2, The monitor message read--"input not supported". Now I have no monitor. Can someone tell me how I can get my monitor back so I can switch back to start up on OS 10.3.9. I have a G4 with lots of Ram and HD space.

Thanks for your response. My G4 is the "Mirror Drive Doors Model" monitor is an Acer 22" Model AL2216W.

Connection is a 13 pin from the monitor into a Mac supplied video adapter.
