Display problem

Hi.
I hope somebody in this forum can help me. I have a Powerbook G4 1.25gHz Firewire. I am running the Leopard OS recently updated. The other day this sight met me when I powered the machine😱
Behind the screen everything seems to work normally. I have tried to reset the PMU and to connect an extern display. It didn't help.
If you have seen anything like this before and knows what's wrong, I'd appreciate a reply.

Sorry to welcome you with bad news, My bet would be a logic board on its way out. I have seen similar things happening to screen who's logic board is on its way out.

Have you backed up your important info/ files? If not I would do it now.
