has anyone come across this.

Macsales is going to send me some new memory.
hopefully that is it. There memeory is supposed to be cerified to work.

I have flashed Pram and CM and nothing changes.

any comments/suggestions are welcome

thanks in advanced

Are you sure you seated the ram correctly?

If so, it sounds like you just got some bad memory and the store you bought it from is already taking care of you, so do not worry.

yes i reseated them a few times.

Also tried individualy and in diffrent slots.
With i dimm the display issue was less then in the video but still had them with either one.

I just find it weired the there would be issues with both of them.
I could see if one was bad.

which makes me think maybe something with the brand them selves which is why i was brining this up here. maybe some input from other people

i have bought ram from them in the past for my last laptop and my last macpro never had a problem.

wasn't sure if its an i7 macbook pro thing.

also am runing snowleapord in 64bit mode. I changed back to 32 bit more for testing same results for both.

Well I see why this could be bothering you, but I am just guessing, your time is probably worth more than diagnosing bad ram.

And if you continue to have problems, you can return this ram and buy some instead from newegg. Many people have had great luck with the $200 8GB G.Skill ram.
