Wouldn't the U2713HM make more sense, given that OS X uses RGB? Anyway, apart from the fact that I have display #3 on the way (this time without defects, I hope), the U2713HM is a nice monitor. I was able to get it for $585 via Newegg.

The U2413, U2713H and the U3014 can display 99% of the (Adobe)RGB color space because they have a 10-bit panel, other displays like the U2713HM and the Apple Thunderbolt Display can't as they have an 8-bit panel.

I'm aware, but my query was about Mac OS X and RGB.
