iPad Display Recorder not Working?

I have Display Recorder 1.3.8(I BOUGHT IT!!!). It doesen't record my display. When I stop recording and go to the app it just created a new file that is 136 bytes big which if I open closes instantly afterwards... Can I fix this? Must I wait for the new update of Display Recorder? Does Ryan Petrich know about this? Please help me! It happens everytime!

I did not send him an email(Should I?)! I think he knows the bug already...

Yes, you should send him an email unless he stated on the app description or twitter that he's aware of said bug and is fixing it
