Hi all. I just opened my brand new 30 inch ACD. It has no dead pixels and is marvelous, however, it is slightly sloping to the left. Tilted if you will. It is fine at first, but the annoyance soon grows on you and since I am using this for design use, I don't want some display that makes everything appear slanted.

I am not sure I want to go to the hassle of driving several hours to an AppleStore or going through AppleCare (or will AC even cover this?). I was just wondering if this is a common problem or not? Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? It's small enough to ignore and large enough to annoy! Any input is greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm new to the forum so don't slaughter me ;-).

Apple Care?

I thought that new ACD's were covered for the first 90 days anyways? Couldn't you return it?

Also - I believe the apple care will cover it?

Have you searched the support section of www.apple.com ?

Sorry if I'm not much help.

thnx for the reply. Yeh, it's under AppleCare. I was just wondering if anybody else had had this problem. I can't decide whether the problem is WORTH the time (which is money) to go thru the process. I probably will give it back to Apple in the end.
