Displays w/ MacOS integration?

Besides the LG 4K and 5K displays, do other monitors have any MacOS integration (I.e. control brightness, display speaker volume via the Mac)?

Its kinda crazy....that we are almost boxed in to this LG Ultrafine option.

New MBP M1 owner here: having trouble spending an addition $700+ on a 24" display.
