Is there a tweak available to dismiss notifications off of the lockscreen without having to unlock the device?

Yes. I use a tweak called "Quick Dismiss" which allows you to dismiss pop-up notifications by pressing the home button.

If thats the case it may not work on your firmware. Which version firmware are you on?

I'm on a 4 with 4.1, that might be the problem. In all honesty, the developer hasn't updated the tweak since before 5.0 even came out. Sorry about that.

I always forget which tweak does what, but check out Lorem and Ipsum. They both are great for dismissing notifications.

Ipsum was a battery drain for me. After I removed it I noticed increased battery life. You may also want to try ClearLockNotifications on Cydia.

Ive been using Ipsum with no issues on battery at all. 😕
