Hey guys, i'm having a problem with certain divX videos not appearing in either Safari or Firefox for me. It isn't on every site, and I don't think it is a codec issue as I (think I) have all the necessary codecs installed as it has never been a problem before.

I know the video files are legit as I can watch them easily on my ipad and there isn't an error. Just a blank space where the video should be.

I'm sure I haven't given enough information so any way I can help you guys help me sort this would be great!

Thanks

Install Perian, see if it works.

Download video (check source for url, or check activity monitor in Safari, alt-double-click). Open file in VLC and see if it works (if it does check the video info). Open in Quicktime, see if it works. Etc.
