Anyone know if one exists? I have a security camera and would like to be able to view it on my watch and not just limited to my phone.

Doesn’t look like it, all of their apps are either for iPhone or iPad none for an Apple Watch.

That’s a super niche market - the situation where you need to check your camera but you don’t have access to an iPad, iPhone, computer etc., and instead you want to view it on the micro screen from the watch.

Dlink have far, far, far more important things to focus on like security and features.

I’m sure there is someone out there who would like to be able to tune a guitar with a watch too. But you know, it’s just not worth catering to such tiny markets.

I believe both Nest and Logitech have Apple Watch apps for their cameras. I have the nest cameras, the Watch notification is good but viewing the camera is terrible, I’ll always jump to my iPhone if a notification comes through.

I find the Watch screen is just too small and there is no ability to zoom in on the watch.

I have the series 7.

Is it the DLink Omna? If so, that is the only DLink camera that has native HomeKit support. It can be viewed from the Home app on the Apple Watch or the HomeCam app for Apple Watch. If it’s not the Omna, not sure it’s possible since there’s no Apple Watch app.

If this feature is that important, any HomeKit camera feed can be viewed from the Apple Watch so you’d need a HomeKit supported camera.

Do you at least get rich notifications for Apple Watch with DLink? If so, that’s probably the extent you’d want to view camera footage on the watch. A quick glimpse if the camera spots motion. I use the rich notifications as a filter to see if I should bother opening the feed on my phone. For casual viewing, it isn’t great, as stated above, Series 7 or not.
