Do all the watches have the same functions?

So can I buy an Apple Watch (middle tier model) and use it for sport etc as i want it to look classy but also use it for normal use because i don't want the sport model. Will it have all the same software features as the sport model?

As far as we know, anyway. There's been no hint so far of anything other than purely cosmetic differences between the models.

It wouldn't surprise me if the sport version is more water resistant then the other 2. But again we know nothing about this at this point.

Since the designs are the same there would be no reason (or excuse) for Apple to hamper the SS & Edition by purposely making them LESS water resistant.
