Do all these screen related issues get resolved over time?

I've never really payed too much attention on the Ipad1 and Ipad2 when it initially came out but usually for mobile devices with large screens, its the 'release date/week/month' shows a lot more issues as compared to 4-5 months after. I understand that the Ipad3 has a new screen technology so we encounter new and familiar issues.

I ask this because I intend to get an Ipad3 as my first iOS device but I am very particular about the screen, I can tolerate backlight bleeding as long as its not obvious when I watch my movies in letter box format, I cannot tolerate any form of 'partial color tints' , I really dislike the so called "calibrated" yellowish whites and dead pixels.

Here in my country, there is no Apple retail store, just an official reseller so replacements may not be that smooth, zero option for refunds ( I think )

Does Apple ship to your country? I'd order directly from Apple as they have more flexible terms than your local reseller it seems.

There is this: http://store.apple.com/ph but I dont know if its easier to deal with an actual authorized reseller.

I can wait out a few months as Im not really in a rush.

If you buy from a reseller, they may have terms that are different from Apple's. If they don't accept a return for a full refund, I'd buy elsewhere.
Refunds are not a big thing here in the Philippines, I think only Samsung offers such. For replacements I dont know yet but Id like to avoid one if possible.
