i'm unable to make one because of credit card reasoning, so i just need any old account so that i could get free apps for my ipod touch.

    In my Corner
Go sign up for an aol/netscape mail account and use that screen name to sign into itunes. I did that and didn't need a credit card.

You don't need any credit card information to set one up, just don't fill in any of the card sections on the sign up screen. I've had my own iTunes account for over two years and I don't have a credit card, and not once since signing up have I had any prompts to give it my credit card info.

    it quite simple actually.

just go to app store and create account.

i think it only works in app store.

when creating an account; theres an option for "None".

the none option does not appear in music

    so did you make it?
anyway, a simple way which I believe still works is trying to download a free app, it will then ask for an account, try creating one then, and choose none as a payment option,it's not always there but I found it right after trying to download a free app.
