Do anyone else's screenshots not always show up on the edit screen immediately after taking them?

Most of the time when I take a screenshot on my iPhone, the screenshot appears immediately and I get the option to, say, copy and delete.

But sometimes, often enough to be annoying, when I take a screenshot there is no visual indication on screen that it has actually happened, and they all just save invisibly into my camera roll!

Anyone else had this..?

This was happening to me on iOS18 and still on iOS26. It's rather annoying and not consistently reproduced.

Yep having this issue, was always fine on iOS18 but since iOS26 initially it was a bit hit and miss and now its pretty much every time it just goes straight to camera roll no matter which setting i have selected in Settings > General > Screen Capture.

What i havent done as yet thinking about it is reboot the phone which i may try.
