I always write my reviews in english in hope of that the creator reads it.
My question is, should I bother?

Yeah but my question is, do you see all the reviews from all regions/countries?

If you're in the US, do you see reviews from Chile, Sweden and Japan?

We spend valuable time looking at all the various country stores checking the reviews. Sometimes we run them through Google Translate. Writing them in English makes it easier for us, but it's preferable the people in your country can read your reviews.

    Good to hear!
Most people in my country write and speak english fluently, so there's no problem there :)

I'm in Russia. I read every review from any country. Also using google translate if needed. We are in one boat :) We need to feel each other.

Most developers are using some kind of 3rd party service to aggregate information around an app. App Annie, AppFigures, etc. These come ready with features to show and sometimes even translate all the reviews from all around the world. Like the others said before I'm reading the reviews regularly as well, and try to please users.
