Do Apple Music recommendations reset after a clean install?

I always set up my devices as new but I noticed with my XS Max that when I opened Music for the first time, it asked me to re-do the bubble recommendation where you double click on what you like. I had done this already a while ago, so I was wondering if Apple Music recommendations reset or if that is normal when doing a clean install. I would not want my recommendations to be affected.
