Do apple remote headphones work with the iPad?

What the title says really. Can you control the iPad with apple remote headphones? Are there any other remote headphones that work, or is it just the apple ones?

You can use Apple headphones that have the inline remote. Most other headphones that have the inline remote settings also work on iDevices.
