Do Apps auto update via 3G?

I noticed in my iPhone 4S my apps don't update if I'm not connected via wifi. Sometime I leave my wifi on over night when I forget 😛 lol and I see some apps have been updated. But when I'm on 3G they don't update.

Do they update only through wifi?

Go to:

• Settings
• iTunes & App Stores

Check that you have Automatic Downloads for Apps selected & Use Mobile Data

If that's all selected (Green), check if you have Mobile Data turned on in:

• Settings
• Mobile
