I have 6 audiobooks on my iPhone, they don't appear on my mac within iTunes. And my mac has a purchased Audiobook that doesn't exist on my phone.

My Music is all synced - with Apple Music. So do Audiobooks (purchased via iTunes) not sync through the cloud?

Also if i play it on my phone and continue listening on my iPad, will it sync the progress via iCloud (assuming i fix the first problem mentioned above)

Thanks

Hello, on your mac, your audiobooks purchased through itunes should be accessed through the top menu bar. Make sure the itunes application on your mac is your active app...then go to the top of the screen at the menu bar and click ACCOUNT, then scroll down and click PURCHASED...it will ask for your icloud password.

...you will be brought to a page where you can download everything you have purchased (top right should be "music" "movies" "TV shows" "Audiobooks" ..in that order...so, select audiobooks and you should see everything you purchased from your iphone.

I know it's confusing because you purchase and play audiobooks on the Apple Books app with your IPHONE, _but_ you download them and play them on your MAC with ITUNES, not the Mac Books store. I hope they change this in future Apple Book app update on the Mac.

Hope this helps.
