I love my Magic Keyboard but battery has definitely taken a hit and the main way I use my iPad is on the coffee table or on my lap where I do not have access to a power point.

So I was wondering if I had a battery pack which could be either charging or charged waiting to be used and I could just plug it in to the Magic Keyboard when needed.

But I have seen about problems with third party chargers or cables so not about to risk paying out for one.

Would expect so - I use my battery packs with a myriad of devices and never ran across something that wouldn't work. The power draw of the MK is not outside the capabilities of a battery pack.

Yep, and additionally all my 3rd party USB C cables work as well to power the iPad through the MK port. I remember reading from some that only the Apple cable worked with the MK port... glad that isn’t the case.
