If you are young and healthy then the ECG monitoring is just piece of mind. If you have long standing heart issues then better to see your doctor and not just depend on the watch.
For the majority, I would agree, but Your above quote is an over-generalization. [I can’t find the post, because there were dozens of EKG threads started within the last week or so]. However, someone had commented that they were relatively young, in great physical shape and they tried the EKG feature, which alerted them, which they scheduled a doctors appointment for testing, which apparently the doctors appointment was able to determine heart concerns early on.
So in theory, I don’t think being young means it’s a piece of mind, when someone could have a heart condition at _any_ age.

My family member was young and healthy when he was diagnosed with a fib. He ate well, exercised etc.... and it took over a year to figure out what was going on. He would have been much better off with the watch!
