In the title. Do I actually have to erase all content like it says in the readme to JB, or will that just make it go quicker? Like will it interfere with the JB at all if I don't erase?

Restoring will make it go faster during the JB process but you don't have to. I didn't and mine worked. I had over 6200 songs on my phone so I didn't want to restore.

They shouldn't have put this in the instructions, its causing all sorts of problems... This is only applicable if you're on a NON-jailbroken phone.

If you are already jailbroken, say on 5.0.1 for example, DO NOT DO THIS. Restore the regular way through itunes.

Cannot reiterate this enough!!!
