So im sure this has been posted before, but my ipod touch was stolen and I wanted to buy the new one that came out today. I had purchased the 3.0 software back when it came out.. so would i have to purchase it again to upgrade to 3.1 or what?

If you have a new iPod you can use the 3.0 update for any iPod you own and use your iTunes login for My wife and I both have an iPod Touch we sync on two diff. computers and we both upgraded to 3.0 but didn't have to pay the upgrade fee for both because we use one log-in for iTunes to purchase our family's music.

I found this out when I went to upgrade my iPod Touch to 3.0 and it said I had already upgraded- do I want to download it again for free.
