Does the Mac App Store Rage version have anything notable removed from the Windows/Steam version? I'm asking because I'd feel more comfortable using App Store than having to install Steam.

No multiplayer on the Mac App Store version. Although it contains some other bonus content, according to the App Store description.

I didn't think there was multiplayer for the Mac version, period. Am I wrong about this?

Come to think of it, I didn't know the game was even available for Mac on Steam. Is this a new development? I own the Windows version on Steam and hadn't gotten to it. Is it Steamplay now?

    Time to go check!

Nope, winders only on Steam. Bummer.

It's called Rage: Campaign Edition, AKA Rage: We're too lazy to implement multiplayer support edition. What do you think?

Did anyone actually play multiplayer RAGE when it was new, never mind now? As far as I know, MP RAGE was never "all the rage."

Get it? All the RAGE? Ahahahahahaha!!!! I kill me!!!

The App Store edition includes some goodies not available on the Steam Windows version not the least of which if I recall correctly is a double barrel shotgun and a nice vehicle to drive. On the flip side, the RAGE DLC available on Steam is not available for the Mac version I don't think.
