You'll be better off with an average USB/bluetooth mouse. Click to expand... Hey, speak for yourself. 😉 I use a magic mouse 8+ hours every day and I love it - especially with an add-on app like MagicPrefs, which lets you define custom gestures.

T TheRealDamager macrumors 65816 Jul 1, 2013 #29 Trackpad is good enough by itself for most tasks. I also use a magic mouse for my IMac - I'll agree with others that the magic mouse takes some getting used to, but now I like it a lot.

D Dominio macrumors newbie Jul 1, 2013 #32 I've never liked or got to grips with the trackpads on PC laptops, but the MBA trackpad works well with it's numerous gestures. However, I still invested in a mouse because for gaming. Was going to get the Apple mouse but read about the flaws with it's trackball. Ended up getting this cheap and cheerful one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-C...&keywords=microsoft+compact+optical+mouse+500 Works well imo.
