Hi

I am using the IPP 12.9 with the ASK and the Apple Pencil.

All of those items are stored in my Leather Muzetto bag, made by SFbags, and specifically designed for iPads. The bag has a padded sleeve compartment for the iPad, a middle zippered pocket and two additional compartments.

Do I also need a Pencil Case and if so, which is best?

Thanks

Jay

I have a Pencil case--it's just a cheap fake leather sleeve I got on Amazon--it does a good enough job protecting the Apple Pencil from all the other stuff in my bag. However, I've been lusting after the Belkin case lately--it's a hard shell case that fits the Pencil, extra nibs, and charge adapter and also acts as a stand for your desk. I recently got an Amazon gift card and used it to order one, but I'm not going to have it until next month for some reason.

I think it's a good idea to have a sleeve or holder for the Pencil just to protect it from getting banged up, and also to keep junk off of that pointy end--if you get a piece of sand or grit embedded in that, it will scratch your screen if you don't inspect it before using.

I decided to use the Apple Leather Sleeve. That provides me with an easy way to store the Apple Pencil. I will be using the sleeve at home and putting the sleeve in my Muzetto bag, on the infrequent times I take the IPP 12.9 out and about.

The cheap one I got on Amazon last year is a similar concept to the Apple sleeve--I think you'll be ok with that one.
