Hi, for Android, we have a gmail account for purchasing apps and syncing calendar. I don't logon to this account often but when I did recently, I got tones of notifications of calendar events. For iPhone do we need to create this kind of account that will receive tones of notifications? Is it better to create a new one rather than an existing email account?

You would need to setup an iCloud account for calendar/find my iPhone purposes. But you can use your existing gmail account for your Apple ID if you would prefer to do that.

Does that work for find my iPhone? I just logged into icloud.com using my gmail account and didn't see that option. But I use my gmail account for my Apple ID, but iCloud for Find my iPhone purposes.
As far as I know, my iCould email account is the same as email account I used to create the Apple ID used for App Store. Am I right?

Since the Apple ID is linked to credit card information, is it better to use another email account if some newly installed apps ask for logging on an email account?
