Do I need Push on for Yahoo mail?

I'm using yahoo mail to push to my phone, not me.com. Under settings do i have to have Push turned on in order for it to do it or since its not .me or exchange can I have it off and still get push?

Yahoo to iPhone is automatically push anyway i think 🙂
