iPhone 12 mini Do I need the 20w charger?

I just bought the iPhone 12 mini. I've had the MagSafe puck since Christmas. I understand that the mini can only charge at 12w via MagSafe. I also understand that this what at least some of the iPhone 12s are limited to unless you use the 20w charger from Apple. Do I need the 20w charger to get 12w into the mini, or will any basic charger (putting out at least 12w) work?

If im not mistaken you do need the 20W charger in order to get the 12W on your 12 Mini.

if you use any other bricks, it's charged at 7.5W, which is QI's speed on iPhone.

Why? MagSafe is slower, more expensive, and makes the phone hotter. Besides, it’s not actually wireless at all. It’s merely a gimmick for now, imo.

Then forget wireless chargers. Better off with USBC to Lightning

I use a Qi charger and it works well. From close to 30% takes about 1.5 hrs.
