do I need to buy leopard to upgrade itunes?

I dont know I think its tiger. all i want to know is do I have to buy something and im guessing thats a no from what you just said so how do I update it is it in the apple site?

Just run Software Update. It will download the latest version of your OS (if available) and iTunes automatically.

Ok then. Run go to the same Apple menu, and under About This Mac, click Software Update. Let it download all updates, restart, and repeat the process until it gives you a message saying that no more updates are available. This will update your OS as well as iTunes and anything else that need to be updated.
