Do I need to download something to enable emoji?

I have added the emoji keyboard but there is no apple icon. I tried copying and pasting but that didn't work either.

its not an apple icon, its more like a world..its right next to your voice text button
oh, lol your talking about the apple icon on this forum?
can't do it, closest thing the Iphone offers is an icon of the Iphone itself
The Apple icon on MacRumors is just an image linked on to the posts by the vBulletin backend. On Mac OS X, you can actually type the Apple symbol. In any text field press shift-option-K and it'll type the Apple symbol. None of iOS' keyboards can do this.

I know it isnt text but have seen it done and used before, I want the white apple icon for a categories folder but I'm not on a Mac. Any other way to achieve this?

This works ^^ Just did it. On your Mac, open TextPad - type Shift+Option+K - the Mac symbol appears. Copy it, email it to yourself, Open the email on your iPhone - copy the symbol on your iPhone and paste it when you rename the folder on your iPhone.
