Now that I’ve preordered an iPhone 12 Pro, do I need to change my current AT&T plan to 5G?

@Illini Al, don’t really want or need it as it’s not available in my area. Figured I had to get it since I preordered the iPhone 12 Pro.

@xxMACxx, I’m on the shared 6GB plan between my wife and I, don’t think it has 5G. If I choose one of the 5G plans, it’s going to be extremely expensive as it’s only 2 lines.

It’s the same for my husband and I. We are on a shared data plan of 6gb with only 2 lines. I still plan to get the phone but we will be sticking to 4g LTE. I don’t mind paying for services I will get some use from but 6gb to unlimited is just too big of a leap for too high a cost. I will try calling them, perhaps they have other plans their web site isn’t showing.

Maybe I’ll try calling as well. I tried their chat and it looked like they were overwhelmed as nobody ever came.
