Do i need to reinstall Blacksn0w if i insert the SIM card after?

If i already have BlackSn0w installed, do i just insert the SIM card and let it get a signal or do i have to power off or reinstall blacksn0w?

Just go ahead and stick your SIM card in

No need to reinstall blacksnow once its installed and running fine.
A reboot wouldnt hurt either but not a must.
