Do I need XML Converter 1.1.7 with Office 2011?

I've never needed to use Open XML Converter, and keep updating it when
prompted. But is this app no longer needed with Office 2011 now available?

Since I no longer have Office 2004 or 2008 on my iMac, I doubt I'll ever see
the files that XML Converter can convert. My only compatibility issues have
been with reading XP Word files, but I can usually get around that.

It's not that I need the 20MB of disk space the app uses, but if I can get rid
of unused apps, I'm all for it . . . 😉

From what I have read and aware of it is only needed for Office 2004.
