I know that Apple has a track record of not having installation keys.. This is even seen in the very recent iLife '08. So if I'm trying to install Leopard on my good ol' Powerbook and my MacBook is it going to work? Anyone have any thoughts?

Legally (that is, according to the contract terms you agree to when you purchase from Apple)? Yes you must buy 2 x Leopard or the family pack.
