    Hello,

Please tell me if any / all apps designed for iPad run on other Macs.

I'm thinking of buying a MacBook Air and wonder if there's any buying some apps.

I realize that the Air is not touch-screen, but does the pointer substitute for the finger.

Are programs such Numbers and Pages regarded as "apps".

    Many thanks

There are some apps for which both OSX and iOS versions are available. You still need to purchase a different version of each app for the different platforms.

Running a ipad or iphone app on the mac - Short answer is no.

"It is possible, but requires the author of the application to bundle the App specifically for you to use in the iPhone Simulator. (You'd need to have the iPhone SDK installed as well, which requires an ADC membership.)..."
