Do Macbook Air's sell well?

Will the MacBook Air be discontinued? It would seem that many would prefer the MacBook Pro or the Macbook so I wonder if the MacBook air will last. Will it?

It's still the cheapest Mac laptop. Until they can get the MacBook down to about the same price the MBA won't be going anywhere.

Even though I wish I could've waited until the Skylake models come out, I bought one earlier this week and I saw someone buy the 11" about 20 minutes before me, so I'd say from what I saw they do sell well
