Do Nano SIM adapters work?

When I travel, I sometimes bring a backup phone. The cheap phones usually just take full-size SIM cards.

Do the nano-sim adapters work, or is the new standard so small that the metal contacts don't line-up with other handsets?

They would be pretty poor "adapters" if they didn't work.

Mine works fine.

They work fine, the nano sims use the same contacts as the older designs.

Nano sim adapters should work perfectly.

You can not though cut a micro sim into a nano sim. There is a slight difference in thickness.
