Do Not Disturb Focus

Ever since upgrading to iOS 17.2.1 my messages are still alerting me even when the iPhone is on DND. I’ve turned it on and off and even rebooted the phone and messages are still vibrating and ringing the phone when it’s on DND.

Any ideas?

Have you double checked the focus to make sure the messages app is not included in allowed apps?

I have the opposite problem. My phone (13) keeps turning Sleep focus on and off throughout the day. I don't even use the focus options at all except maybe the driving one, if it's automatic.
