I'm experiencing a really annoying issue where even though I have a group conversation set to Do Not Disturb on my iPhone, I still get notified of the messages on my watch, even though I have Do Not Disturb set to mirror my phone. Any reason as to why this is happening, and is there a fix?

Go to Apple Watch app, select messages, select 'Mirror iPhone'
All notification and message settings will be transferred to watch from your iPhone.

Does not work. Has this issue been fixed in later watchOS releases? I'm still on 1.0.

You're only on WatchOS 1?!

This issue has been fixed for sure! Update to the latest WatchOS immediately! Many MANYYY bugs are fixed. The WatchOS is much faster, and presents new features.

You do need to be on th latest iOS as well i believe. Its worth it.

Are you absolutely sure? Lol I've been hearing complaints even from those running watchOS 2

The problem was solved for me sometime between wOS 2.0 and 2.1. I have several active group messages so I know for sure that DND on message threads works as it's supposed to.

I'm on version 2.2 and it definitely does NOT work for me.

HH: Are your groups composed of only other iphone users using imessage, or is it a mix of SMS text messages and imessages? I understand that it will make a difference.

Most of my groups are iMessage only (and all of my current ones are) but I'm pretty sure I had mixed SMS/iMessage groups blocked by DND too... It's been a few months so it's possible I'm mistaken.
