Has anyone else had an issue with "Do Not Disturb" staying on past its scheduled turn-off time?

I do not have "Smart Activation" enabled. I only have a schedule set to run Do Not Disturb from 10:30 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. Yet this is the second time in a couple weeks that it's past 7:00 A.M. and Do Not Disturb is still on. Switching the schedule on and off does not fix it; all I can do is manually disable it from the focus screen.

I have a 17 Pro Max with the latest updated software.

Do you have other iCloud-synchronized devices (iPad, iPhone, Mac or watch) that use DND or a sleep schedule - or may have used it in the past?

Sometimes if one gets out of sync it can mess up all. I had something like that happening about a year ago. I had a sleep schedule on one watch, but I modified it a few times to handle changing work schedules. I'm not sure what I messed up but my phone and iPad repeatedly got stuck on DND all day just like you.

In the end, I think wiping out the old sleep schedule and years of saved sleep data fixed it. Not sure, but it's fine now.

^What they said.

Had this same problem in the early days of Focuses, just in reverse: Focuses turning off pre-maturely (ie. hours early).

I've disabled "Share Across Devices" as, for me, didn't buy me anything and or made sense to have them shared. Phone has the most Focuses to deal with various scenarios/times-of-day/use-case and most are for when out and about. Versus Mac and iPad are generally not with me and are basically all or nothing wrt alerts/notifications/etc.

Eg. on a teleconference so want the Mac silenced but "normal" work OK to get alerts. iPad, sits in the bedroom until I get it to use on the sofa and have only one Focus, DnD from 22:00-07:00 as rest of the time is out of the way and "idle".

So glad someone asked this question!

I was having the same annoyances too.

Thank you for the answers.

Yes, I do have it shared between devices, namely my iPhone and my MacBook Pro. I don't need Do Not Disturb on my MacBook. This is primarily to avoid my phone going off in the middle of the night. I've disabled "Share Across Devices", so it is only enabled on my phone.

Let's hope this fixes the problem.

I have this problem on my iPad and I don't even use DND on it!

Only my phone has a schedule and it's set to not share.

My iPad will occasionally be on DND even outside of the schedule set on my phone so even if it was shared from the phone the iPad is just making **** up. I've no idea what the cause is and its annoying as hell as I miss notifications for things.

And had something similar when dealing with my earlier post in this thread.

What worked for me was to delete all existing Focuses and enter new ones. But since sounds like no Focuses defined, my add one, reboot, and see if any "new" ones pop-up: if so, delete all the Focuses.

Nuclear option and a pain: wipe and setup as new?
