Do other batteries work with apple's charger?

I've read on the net that the batteries that come with apples charger are sanyo eneloops.

Does this mean i can buy a pack of eneloop batteries and they will work with my charger?

Yeah dude. My logitech PMX mouse came with an Eneloop and I charged it last night with the charger.

You can only use NiMH batteries with the Apple Battery charger. Alkaline, NiCad, Lithium will not.
