Are peel case worth it? I like the profile but I’m skeptical if they’ll break over time.

I use the Caudabe, Totallee & Tozo variants of the same case. Like all thin plastic, they are prone to deforming over time (few months) and depending on the drop can tear as well. However, the profile of these cases keep bringing me back.

they aren’t good cases for drop protection, just scratches. They also provide additional grip.

I've used the Peel and Totallee cases for my iPhones and found them to be good for basic protection, as @al0kz said... but no protection for drops. I switched to the Pitaka MagEZ case on my Xs Max and found it to be a very good option... it's slightly thicker than the Peel and Totallee cases, but offers a good amount of real protection... I've had it on my Xs Max since launch day (September, 2018) and it still looks brand new. If you have an iPhone 11, Pitaka has an even thinner case - the Air case... same protection in an thinner case than the MagEZ case.

I've been using the Peels for a while now. I find them to be higher quality than the Totallee and Tozo cases, but I always wait until Peel (or Amazon) has them on sale.

As mentioned above, they don't hold up really well. I've had Totallee and Caudabe (same plastic used for Peel), and they all warped at the bottom corners in about a couple of months. They're cool and mimic the phone really well, but they're overpriced for what you get.

Had a Peel on my 7 Plus, it got loose and was totally warped when I took it off a couple months later. Tried them again with the iPhone 11, same thing happened and the corners widened. I'm not a fan of them even though the design is nice.
