Do screen protectors remove the original coating? I would guess so.
Can you replace it after? I would guess so.

Anyone got more general or specific info on the coating?

Thanks.

What's so special about the paint on my car that it doesn't come off when I drive down the highway.

Whats special about the coating that it doesn't come off with the screen protector adhesive?

The bond between the coating and the glass is stronger than the bond between the screen protector and the coating so it won't be removed when the protector is.
