That's good to know. But the led and slightly different home button are not that noticeable anyway.
But Apple is super secretive as usual.

Haha true that. But if people were actually looking for the new iPhone (i'm guessing they would because Apple campus is the best place to find them) then they are a pretty big sore thumb :p

I hear you.
They haven't lost any iphones lately at the bar:)

Haha thank god for them :)

I guess doubling down in secrecy means not loosing iPhone's at bars in San Francisco :p Just in case though ill be in SF looking for one ;)

in the past, the prototype 4 that was lost and found i think was in a shell made to look like a 3GS. i bet field testers use disguised devices. but im sure apple VIP's use them without any cases/disguised.

Well, I'm not Cook or Ive or any of those guys, but I've never put a case on any of my iPhones ... and I've had every model of iPhone the day they were released. I love the tactile experience of handling the raw phone.

So, the iPhone 4 didn't feel awkward without the bumper after switching from the 3G/3GS because of the absence of the curved edges to you?

Not at all. The 3G/3GS felt the most 'toylike' of all the releases. Once the form factor moved to the 4 (and beyond), the phone felt like a piece of precision engineering in my hand. No way I was going to dull that by wrapping a piece of rubberized plastic around it.
